♫♫Benefit Concert: Jazz for Dave♫♫

If it wasn’t for bad luck, Dave wouldn’t have any luck at all.  All kidding aside, this is my long-time high school friend, Dave Ovalle.  We lost contact with each other over years then a couple of years ago Dave and his family searched me out at a home show.  His wife is lovely as can be and his daughter is so sweet and wonderful (you’d never know she has had many surgeries and isn’t out of the woods, yet).

Fast forward a couple of years and Dave found out he has throat cancer.  After going through cancer treatments Dave went back to work to find a pink notice – they fired him.  He has bills each week like you can’t imagine.  He isn’t a rich man and needs help.
